MAGI System

MAGI is a fan-made recreation of the MAGI supercomputer from Neon Genesis Evangelion, running right on your PC :3

Ask the MAGI anything! MELCHIOR • 1, BALTHASAR • 2 and CASPER • 3 each think it over with their own personality, then vote. Two out of three decides: 可決 APPROVED or 否決 REJECTED.

WHAT'S INSIDE

- 審議 VOTE: ask a question and watch the three units deliberate

- 防壁 DEFENSE: fight off hacking attacks with Protect 666... and reboot the MAGI if they fall

- 回線 NETWORK: your real internet connection, live, with a LINK LOST alarm when it drops and a speed test shown as a sync ratio

- 監視 SYSTEM: a Task Manager, MAGI style: processor, memory, disks, network, GPU and processes

- 記録 RECORDS: every verdict, saved

- 設定 SETTINGS: 40+ settings, including each unit's personality

- Tokyo-3 tactical map: type "Open Tokyo3 map", scan for Angels and launch the EVAs

- Tray icon, Windows notifications and a "MAGI deliberating..." status on Discord

THE AI BEHIND THE VOTES

- MAGi (free, on your PC): a local AI that runs on your own computer. No account, no subscription, and your questions never leave your PC. It's slower than an online AI, especially on older PCs.

- Claude (faster): use your own Claude account (with Claude Code installed) or an Anthropic API key.

HOW TO INSTALL

1. Download and unzip the file.

2. Open MAGI\MAGI.exe.

3. For the free local AI, run "Install MAGi AI.cmd" once (needs internet and about 3.5 GB of space).

Windows may say "Windows protected your PC" because MAGI isn't digitally signed: click More info, then Run anyway.

REQUIREMENTS

- Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit)

- For MAGi: about 3.5 GB of disk space and 8 GB of RAM or more
